The Great Clock Disappearance

A crime has been committed. The road leading to Calder Road Station slopes down past shopfronts and a busy dual carriageway. The station itself teems with commuters at rush hour, shoppers in the day, schoolchildren in between. And yet, somehow, the great town clock that has stood on the building beside the station for as long as anyone can remember is no longer there.
