Influence
Who decides what is right for us?
Peter Riley is an IT expert, keeps fit and active, and is a modern family man. While the world around him is subjected to imposed Influences on what we should believe and want, Peter tries to buck the trends as he struggles to raise his family single-handed.
His wayward, pretty daughter has ambitions to design clothes for the A-listers. Her brother is a down-to-earth scientist. With what Peter knows, life should evolve easily — but instead he battles through the highs and lows of everyday situations, despite his attempts to overcome every obstacle and live happily ever after.
Is that even possible? We are born, we grow, we live, we learn, we try our best — is it ever enough? Is there more to life? Who decides what is right for us? Where did their authority come from? Can individuality overcome conformity? Are we supposed to believe all we see and hear? Why does the news reflect only one side of a situation? How can it be impartial?
While life passes swiftly by, Peter reflects, and tries to understand whether there are any answers.
